I seem to have lost some projects that I was suppose to share. How does one do that you may ask? I have no clue. But I did. If it can be done I will do it! LOL!

Super jealous of all the cha goodness I see on my newsfeed. But I am totally enjoying my 2 days off. I look around my house and see SO much that needs to be done. How does one do it with no time? I desperately need to learn how to organize and stay organized. Hmph.

I have been working on deadlines my two days off. The first to come along is scrapjacked. We jacked the lovely and talented Celine. Seriously. Fab.

I always seem to start out my posts with how much time I DON'T have. So I wont. Not this time. Not now. Work has been going well. I adore my floor supervisor. She is always telling me what a great job I do. She makes me blush. I don't handle praise to well. I mean don't get me wrong I love to hear it but I feel strange when we are face to face and they say it more then once. Makes me blush. Am I the only one? I highly doubt it. Anyway point is I am glad things are going well. Sadly there isn't a day that goes by that I wish I could be doing what I truly love. I wish I could be creative for a living. Very hard to do that. Especially with a family to support. I haven't given up my dream tho of opening up my own store.

I haven't been able to cook much of anything new. I am hoping to get back into doing that soon. I have a ton of recipes on pinterest waiting for me to try. Feb. Gonna shoot for that.

CHA is coming up! I would LOVE to go and am trying. I don't think it is gonna happen tho. Not written in the stars for me this year. I have never been and it looks like tons of fun. Poo. Have you ever been?

My hubby's birthday was last weekend. We had a small get together at our house on Saturday and then Sunday I took him out to a movie and dinner.

So I just downloaded the blogger app for my (totally awesome) iPhone 4s and am trying it out. Not sure how it's gonna work but so far not bad. If this works great it will mean way more posts from me!

So let's post a few pics. I found this great fabric at the thrift store for .75 and it is going to be my next hair bow.

Speaking of hair bows I never did share the ones I made for a friend. She was sad at work so I really wanted to try and do something nice. Here those are.

Drops of Jupiter in her hair

Hiya! So it has been a while...Not proud of that but a working girl is having a hard time managing her time. I commute a hour every day on top of a 9 hour work day. Poo! When I get home I really just wanna sit and veg. I cant seem to move my body after running around all day. Not having 2 days off in a row really messes with me too. Ok ok enough with the excuses. I did manage to do some things. Creative type is up and ready for your spin. This is mine.
My resolutions for this year are to enjoy life. Try to not focus so much on the negative and more on the positive. It was a rough 2011 and an even rougher 2010 but I have faith that this year will be better. I love how happy Betty Paige looks in the pic I used. I adore her. I used a TON of hambly. Speaking of Hambly I have some sneaks for ya. The new collection coming out soon! I am sooo over the moon with how beautiful it is! I mean really! Cant wait to get my hands on it. Soon I will play!

Should old acquaintance be forgot

First of all Happy New Year! SOOOOO much to share! Did you have a wonderful holiday? Mine was pretty great. Kids were happy, I was happy, hubby was happy. My sister had a baby! I am a new auntie. I have a job. My family is healthy. My husband loves me to no end and I him. Life is good. I am trying to be MORE positive. See the good.

What was your resolutions? OLW? Mine is enjoy. Enjoy the things I do have. The little things. Life. Just enjoy it all. We only get one life and mine could be over any time. ENJOY!

I have a little bit of a sneak for GCD.

Your face to face with the man who sold the world

Hello everyone! I have some really happy news. I HAVE A JOB! Yay! It has finally happened and let me tell you not a moment to soon. It is a bit of a drive, the hours suck, and the days off are even more sucky, but it is a job! I am thankful, grateful, and everything else in between.

Of course that should tell you why the lack of posts. Not only the job but the fact that my laptop is no longer in working order doesn't help. I have to use my husbands desktop and me no likey! He is usually on it or my 16 year old. I hate the way I have to edit photos on it. I just cant seem to get them to look right anymore. Grrr! But hey I have a job! LOL! That means maybe soon I will have the money to get my laptop fixed...or better yet a iPad! Hahahaha! Yeah I wont hold my breath for that.

Anyway I have a little Christmas page to share with you. This is for Creative Type. You really need to go play along.

It is of me and the hubby. He truly is the best gift. He loves me so very much and I couldn't ask for a more loving and devoted husband. Lucky I am!

Cuz its turkey to eat, so good

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope you stuffed yourself full of totally awesome food and had a wonderful day! Mine is barely beginning as I type this. Kids are in the living room fighting while playing LBP on the PS3. Hubby is snoring in bed and I am sitting here typing. This year started out great. I thought this was the year it was all going to turn around for me. Boy did it ever trick me. I did however grow as a person. It has been rough but I have survived. I just keep telling myself it could be worse. You all know that is my fav thing to say lol!

This day makes me forget the bad and realize how much I am truly blessed. My FB status says it so well...

"Giving thanks...I have been blessed with wonderful people in my life. My soul-mate who adores me just as much as I adore him and always makes my life better. Children that are healthy and make me laugh every day. A mother who loves me despite my faults and is always there for me. Cousins who are like my sisters and I can always talk to about anything. Sister who I love and cherish. Sis in laws that make me feel like we are blood. Aunt and uncle I love to hug. A father who wasn't always there but is making the effort now. AMAZING friends! I love you all very much!"

I have met so many beautiful people online. Friends that I hope I will grow old with. I made this page about 2 that I truly adore.

They don't judge me for what I DONT have. They lift me up when I feel down. They let me bitch and cry and whatever else I need to do. These two are FRIENDS. I will always see them as such and they will always have a special place in my heart.

If it hadn't been for love

Next week is Thanksgiving. All my thanksgiving decorations were ruined. Totally my fault, so I ended up not putting anything up for thanksgiving. Boo me. Just not that into it right now. BUT that does not mean I shouldn't be thankful right? Full of thanks. I have many things to be thankful for. My family of course is my rock. What keeps me plugging along and trying my hardest. My husband is AMAZING. He loves me no matter what I look like or act like. He loves me despite my faults. My kids are truly wonderful little ones. Without them there would be nothing to push me to be a better me. My mom, she is a beautiful person inside and out. I appreciate her more and more every day. She is my shoulder to cry on and my hug to make the pain go away. My friends are awesome. I mean really. This amazing internet community that I have become a part of. I cant believe all the ladies who have touched my heart.

*Oh yeah I didn't share that with you all yet have I?! Sheesh when your head is in the storm clouds lots of things get lost along the way.*

I am super excited they asked me to guest for them! I mean wow their kits are filled with some awesome stuff! LOVE IT!

The only thing I used that was not in the kits they sent was the Crate Paper. EVERYTHING else is from them.

I am going to fill my book with little thankful things that my family and I talk about this thanksgiving. Everyone should know I am thankful and what I am thankful for, even when my voice has long been silenced. Everyone.

Oh what an awesome thing to wake up to!!! Totally wasn't expecting this. After the call I got yesterday from the job I THOUGHT I had, I honestly prepared myself for a no thanks. Woke up to FB wall posts and 14 emails! It was pretty cool.

Seasons come and go

Ok so I am so far behind. As you all know I went to school to become an RDA. Hoping that I would get a job right away. That has NOT happened. In return I am VERY short on money. Well something happened on Halloween that just made it almost IMPOSSIBLE to make it. I wont go into detail but it really shook my world and dropped me on my head.

Why do things like this happen always around the holidays? Not to mention my laptop is no longer in working order and my hubs cell phone is on the fritz. Of course I can live without all that but still...They say when it rains, it pours and boy were they ever right!

I have had a few interviews...But no jobs. It really is a blow to your ego when you don't get that call back. Just gotta keep on keepin on I guess. I will get through it. I know this. Just is hard to believe sometimes. Blah!

As I stated above I am far behind. This page I did a while back. It is of my cousin Marky. He was having such a wonderful time on that rocking horse. Of course used more sass and Hambly.
Isn't the look on his face priceless? Adore!

Halloween you say?!? Yes. I should have posted this a while ago but there is a tutorial for this little Halloween chalkboard I made on the A Million Memories blog. Love how it turned out. Easy to make too!

You will see more Halloween in the days to come. I still never did post my mantel and decorations. Stay tuned! Oh and be sure to send more good thoughts and prayers. I can always use them.

oct gcd color

One of my very favorite seasons is Fall. I love the falling leaves, all the beautiful colors, the holidays and of course the food! Pumpkin everything, smells that make your mouth water. To showcase your yummy food you should have a beautiful place setting. This inspiration picture is just gorgeous! I mean the colors are not your typical fall colors but they work for fall sooo well! Wouldnt you agree! I love these colors so very much.

I knew I needed to use a white background for these beautiful colors so they would pop even more off the page.

When I think of fall I think of family, friends, and all the pictures I take. I never get a chance to take one of myself. Thank goodness there are other photographers in the family.

This picture captures ME. I always have the camera in my hand. I am always trying to capture everyone else in their element. I am so glad someone captured me in mine.

GCD october tech

Halloween is fast approaching. I don't know about you but my children are constantly asking how many more days till the candy filled dress up day. To Make that fun and something I don't have to answer 4 times each day I came up with this Halloween countdown.

Now to make your own.
Supplies
Ink
Orange PP in 2 different patterns
Glue
Pop dots
Chalkboard paint
Paper Mache house
Twine
chalk
scissors

Paint your paper mache house with chalkboard paint. Follow directions on bottle. Let dry.

For the pumpkin you need 5 ovals. 2 in one pattern and 3 in another. My pumpkin uses 5 3 inch ovals. Ink all edges to make them pop.

Begin to build your pumpkin. Start from one side and glue the 2nd oval to the first. Add your 4th oval to the 2nd.

Glue your 5th oval to your 4th.

Last glue your 3rd and final piece to the middle.

The back will look like this. I cut out a freehand stem for my pumpkin and also glued it to the back.

Attach twine around the roof to hold your chalk and a jewel to the pumpkin to bring more attention to it.
I wanted to add just a little more and break up the house so I added a boarder I cut from RSVP.

All you need to do is give your kids the chalk and begin the countdown!

Ok I am in such a blah place right now. I know its a number of reasons but the main one is PMS. Yes I said it. I mean 99% of my readers are ladies so why not just put it out there. I hate that week or two out of the month where everything makes me wanna jump off a cliff. Tears are always waiting to come pouring out my eyes. Am I the only one? HMPH. When I get this way I find it hard to do much of anything.

I had a interview the other day. My 3rd since I have been out of school. They all seem to have been right around THAT time. I dont deal with rejection well and I am not use to not getting the job. I have only ever not gotten the job one time. The guy that interviewed me was a JERK so I knew it was a no go. I was dissapointed but it wasnt that big of a deal. That was over 15 years ago.

I graduated top of my class with a 3.97 and perfect attendance. Why the heck cant I get a job?!? I am just so confused and hurt. I feel like it must be me. I'm taking it personally. I know I shouldnt. Again with the "I give myself very good advice, but I rarely seldom follow it." It really is true. I guess I just don't know how to snap my heart out of it. If I thought slapping myself in the face would help, I would. Ha!

I am lucky, I am blessed, even tho I dont feel like it. I shouldnt have to remind myself that, it could be worse. I could be batteling cancer or a loss of a loved one. Heartache knows everyone. So snap out of it! Right?!

Right. I have friends who are super awesome, family that I adore and adores me back. My soulmate. Who could ask for anything more?! With that being said I am going to TRY not to let this, financial bull s%^& bring me down. I am going to assume that there is something better out there. Eventually it will come my way. IF it never does, well at least I lived my life happy and not worrying about all the crap I cant change. Life is SHORT. Wow feel like I have had this talk before. (wink)I guess sometimes we need reminding. I am not perfect. Havent I mentioned that?

Ok so on to the small stuff. My son Rowan walked out on the porch where my hubby and I were standing. He looked up at said "look mom a heart!" I looked up and there it was. Ran in and grabbed my camera.
I love this picture. Now I have a story to and a page to go with it.

It reminds me how kids can enjoy and appreciate small things that us adults miss.

If I was just another dusty record on the shelf

My mom's birthday went well.

Made her cookie dough cupcakes & pumpkin spice fudge. My husband told me they were his very favorite cupcake so far. If you love cookie dough that cupcake is totally for you.

& the Hubs made Sopes.The sopes turned out soooo good.

I managed to make her a simple card.
I channeled my inner Ashley Newell. Not as sweet as her cards but I made it in 5 mins so I don't think it turned out bad. All in all it was a lovely day.

I managed to complete 5 pages that I have started and never completed. This is one of them.
Hambly and Crate for this one.

My husband and I have been together now for almost 19 years. I say that constitutes me calling us soul mates, wouldn't you?

Speaking of Crate...What is with AC buying up all these SB companies? NUTS! I love Crate paper. I am also sad to see Sass is out of the game. I mean I guess things have gotten really tough for EVERYONE. I hope this economy turns around soon.

Watching telly, drinking wine

I have so much to share with you. Of course you may not want me to share it but I shall anyway lol!

We had our 2nd Friday fright night of the season. We did a Nightmare On Elm Street marathon. Of course we skipped the 2nd movie. Worst nightmare ever!

For dinner I made the Chicken Broccoli Bake. We LOVE this casserole.

It is freakin delicious! I use Normandy veggies in it instead of just broccoli and the kids really like it. YUM!

For our treat we ate (& I made) white chocolate pretzel rods.

OMG sooo delicious. I used white chocolate chips and melted them over a double boiler. When you do that, make sure to turn it low and keep stirring. Dip the rods in and sprinkle while still wet with Halloween sprinkles.

Simple!

When I do pages of myself, I like to be all deep and profound. HAHA! No but I do like to tell something heartfelt about how far I have come or how I feel about life. You know the same old blah blah.

My mom's birthday is today! Happy Birthday MAMA! I adore you to bits! Isn't she lovely?

I am making cookie dough cupcakes and maybe sopes. Never have made them so it should get interesting.

Found this page that I forgot to upload. I think I was going to journal on it.

I still might, but the picture speaks for itself.

They truly are best friends. Sadly she had to move and it really is hard on my daughter and our family. She became part of our family too.

No woman no cry

As I stated before I have been on a roll when it comes to scrapbooking. When I can scrap for no reason, with no deadlines looming or boxes put around me, that is when the creativity flows. I love Crate Paper, and their new-ish collection Random is no exception. I adore it.I also used Divine Twine from whisker graphics. This twine truly is divine!

So many pretty colors and elements. It went so well with my Santa Cruz pics. These are of our trip there when we went to see Lost boys on the beach. I try to make it out there every year, so you will see a lot of pics from this most awesome place.

I only love you when I'm down

I have been creating pages left and right these past few days. I think it is the Random collection by Crate Paper that has inspired me so. It took a day or two but I got out of the funk I was in and got busy.
The colors are so springy it kinda takes me out of the whole Halloween mode. I need to get some really good Halloween papers to inspire me! Although I did find that cute printable on Pinterest. The AC Halloween line is super cute too. Used that on my scrapjacked project.

I am so inspired by quilts and this is a quilt pattern I found on the Internet. Very simple and fun. The picture if of my husband and my feet on the beach watching lost boys in Santa Cruz. I NEVER get tired of scrapping these pictures. Never.

Rowans Bday part was Sunday. He had a lovely time. We bought him a MP3 player, sketch book and pens, and gave him a little spending money. Here is the happy bday boy opening pressies.

I made juicy Lucy's, chili cheese fries and a ice cream cake. the ice cream cake was a disaster. I really should've made it the night b4. Oh well. Still tasted good lol!

We also had our first Friday fright night last Friday. Kids love when we do that. We had grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches with soup, snacked on marshmallows and watched Children of the Corn and The others.

My hubby had a glow stick and he TRIED to scare the kids. We creeped outside and was staring in the window but my youngest son saw him right away and wasn't scared. Booo! LOL! We ended up breakin the glow stick open and painting our faces with it. They thought that was great.

As I stated I did a whole months worth of menu planning. Monday nights dinner was...

Roasted Garlic Mushrooms(sooooooo Delicious!)Pesto chicken,and white cheddar pasta shells.(From the box)

Old friend why are you so shy

Hey bloggity peeps just a quick blog post to let ya all know the Creative Type is up. Of course I wanted to share my take on this very fun prompt.
I played with the new Crate Paper Random. Love it! I also found this fun chevron patter on pinterest. I know the end all be all of inspiration.

When I went to BBF Ashley's house Kristi and I took these pics with the tiny rub on mustaches from GCD. I need something pop culture and these to me scream it.

We had a really fun time taking pictures with her instax (smaller version of a polaroid) even more pop culture. This whole layout screams pop culture. I really want to do a zombie layout. I think that will be my next project.

Mysterious and spooky

First day of October! I ♥ it! I need to get into the spirit of Halloween and start creating more. I have managed to make this one Halloween decoration for my mantel, Scrapjacked and the Halloween hop. I killed 3 birds with one stone. If you are here for the hop, thanks for dropping by. I have a little bit to share with you.

Are you on Pinterest? Well if you aren't I highly recommend you give it a look-see. I found these awesome free Halloween printables. I used them to create this little master piece.

A little bit of Martha Halloween paper from last year.

I made a tiny witch hat from a scallop circle and a regular circle. Wrapped it in twine from Divine Twine. The butterfly is also from the free printable. I covered the top one in crackle stickles.

A dollar tree creepy toy and a old Jolee sticker.

Making Memories felt ghost and more Halloween Divine twine wrapped around mini spools from Maya Road.

Mini Rosette covered in petal soft and an AC button for the center. The shadow box was from the dollar tree and I just painted it black. I had almost all of this from past years. I collect things here and there.

Blog blog blog. So much to blog about but just not into it. You ever get that way? Losing my steam I guess. I wonder if the readers are losing their steam as well? Maybe it will pick back up after the holidays? I know this time of year is stressful for a lot of people. Me especially. I have a full October. A birthday, my graduation, a crop, my sisters baby shower, another crop/sleepover, AND cant forget Halloween! I mean sheesh. BUSY! November and December are no better. I also have deadlines to finish. YIKES. LOL! The whole point of that was, if I am THAT busy then surely you all must be too! *wink*

I am participating in a halloween blog hop.Yay! I really want to make some cute stuff this year. Now to find the time. Haha! Oh don't worry I will squeeze it in somewhere. Have to get my Halloween mantel decorated. That is my favorite part.

I did happen to create something halloween for Scrapjacked. Here is a tiny peek at that.

I got to have a girls weekend-ish with Ashley & Kristi. We had a blast! Laughed, scrapped, ate...Ashley made us dinner from pinterest. OMG the food was delish. I will be making the same thing soon and share the recipes of course. I did a little bit of scrapping. Finished my creative type layout just in time. Love it.

I also planed our dinners for a month! I am sooo proud of myself. I have to thank pinterest for that one. I mean I always spend at least a hour on there and think why am I doing this, what a waste. But seriously its not. It has given me so much inspiration and recipes that I cant stand it! LOL! Seriously, I love that site. I will post the weeks menu in October with recipes (I hope). I have good intentions.

GCD Technique sept

Summer is officially OVER at my house. Yes it is still hot, but we have had a lovely hectic month preparing for school. Our summer ends when school begins! When school begins we don't only prepare the kids but we prepare the teachers. Last year my son's teacher was a little upset that most of the kids would lose their pencils. He was always supplying the kids with new pencils every day. I know that teachers don't make a lot of money and show we as parents care I decided to fix that little issue.

I came up with this little jar full of pencils that the kids can take, use and return. The perfect gift that hopefully keeps on giving. Here is how I made it.

First gather your supplies. Above I have pictured all the tools, glues and ink I used. I also used the Elementary My Dear 48 sheet collection pad designed by Heather Tozzi.

Firs start out by punching your shapes. I punched the tag shape out of the alphabet paper and the medallion shape out of the apple paper.

Ink the edges of your punched shapes to make them pop.
Cut off the top 3 inches or so of the pencil sheet.
I then ran the strip through my paper crimper to add texture.

Place a glue on the underside of the strip on either side. One will anchor it to the jar and the other will close the strip on itself.

Add foam squares to the backs of your punched shapes.
Adhere to the front of the jar on the strip.
I really loved the sweet little pencils and had to cut one out to add to my tag on the front.

I wanted to set the pencils apart from any of the kids pencils so I came up with these little banners to add to them. Hopefully this will insure they get returned. First cut stripes of paper. Mine are 5 inches long by 2 inches wide.

I then fold in half and cut a triangle out of the center of the ends so they match up.

Write your teachers name or please return on the banner.

To adhere them to the pencils I used a very strong glue.Run a bead of glue along the crease in the middle.
Position the pencil on the glue.
Then apply more glue to the end of the banners and join together. The kids wont be able to get these off all that easily.

Add your sentiment to the tag and you are done.
A quick, useful and cute gift to give the teacher.

I hope I have inspired you to create something sweet and useful for one of the important teachers in your life.

This melody was meant for you

Fall is almost here and I cant wait! I love fall. The weather, colors and activities. For my color inspiration I picked this beautiful pallet.

It is simply gorgeous. It reminds me of leaves on the trees as they are changing from green to yellow. The streets get piled with them and my kids and I love taking walks during that time.

A while back my sister and her husband stopped to smell the roses. It was such a sweet moment. So candid, so beautiful, I of course snapped away.

I adore this little bird. I have used her on a few creations. She is just so sweet.

The greens, yellows, and greys really compliment the photo.
My sister looks so beautiful in her dress. I wanted to make a page that was almost as beautiful as she was. These papers helped me do that. (FYI the sunflower doily is from the dollar tree.)

Never Forget

On this day 10 years ago I was sitting at home with my small children wondering what the heck was going on. The news was showing the first building on fire and everyone was in a panic...I remember the live coverage and seeing the 2nd plane hit the 2nd building. My heart just sank. Couldn't wrap my head around why it was happening. The cities were so silent no one would come out of their homes. I hugged my kids tighter that day and mourned for all the families that were affected.

The best thing you never had

Already September. Does life ever slow down? It seems like once you hit your teens everything just flies by and the older you get the faster it goes. Gotta start living life a little better. Less stressed. Make that one a goal I guess. *wink*

Guess what? I counted the layouts I have that are almost finished and there are 5! I mean those are just the ones I have done in the last month. There are more somewhere that have been like a year in the making! WTF? I know! And when I say "unfinished", I mean all they need is a bit of journaling. Yes my arch nemesis. Gah! They will get done. Sounds like another goal.
I will finish them. Maybe not today, maybe not tmw, but they will be finished.

Speaking of finished. I started this page at the crop last weekend with Kristi and Suzy over at AIS. I love my crop time. I don't get much done but it does release stress and brings me great joy. As I said I started this page. I didn't glue anything down. Last night I started to realize I hadn't posted a blog post in a bit. I had nothing "finished" to share with you all so I quickly remembered this page.

Nothing was glued down, as a matter of fact everything was scattered in the bag. I put it all together and realized I needed...DUN DUN DUN! JOURNALING! Grrr. I ran it out to the crafty cottage and typed away.

I couldn't believe it. SO simply, so easy. Yay! FINISHED! The picture we took with Kristi's instax and it came out, well terrible. She challenged me to use it. I did. This page is about how imperfect life can be but I am glad I have friends like Kristi to go through it with.

On Wednesday I had a house guest arrive. My 86 year old grandmother.

She is a lovely lady. I adore her. She is like my second mom.

Because she is here I have been making many recipes from Pinterest. One is this delish potato soup. Totally to die for. YUMMY!

I use fresh potatoes and onions. It is really really good.

I will share more recipes that I tried soon. How bout you? Tried anything from pinterest?

How is your scrappin life coming along? Do you feel uninspired? Do you need a little bit of a push to get those creative juices flowing again? Well have I got a blog post for you! Gather up your tears, keep em in your pocket

I said I was going to re-think how I do my journaling. Well I should say I am going to try to journal more. FYI it's been hard, but I managed to journal on this page. YAY! It was quite difficult. Sadly it is not very much journaling either. Lame on my part. However I do like it.
They have this great park here in Stockton with a HUGE fountain that the kids can run through and get absolutely soaked!

We have such a great time there and it's free! Haha I am all about free. I sometimes am tempted to wear some shorts and a tank and run through it myself. Alas I don't wear shorts. My legs are terrible! Hate hate hate them.

If my legs were nice I would so be in that dang fountain! I may one day just run through it in my pants. *wink*

Do you have a awesome place in your city you like to go?

I passed my RDA! YESSSSSSSS! I am so super excited. I still have a few obstacles to get over to get my license, but the best part is no more tests! Going to get my fingerprints done today. After that just need to renew my cpr license and then I'm golden!

I had a wonderful weekend. Saturday Gina came and picked me up and she drove us (Tricia and Ashley) to AIS. Ginger and Diane were already scrappin away when we got there.

Ashley, Ginger and I had a funtastic time. Laughing, scrappin and eating way to much. I tried chow fun. Scraped 1 page. Yes 1. Lovely time.

Sunday the hubs and I got up and went to the flea market. They had so many vintage suitcases it was insane. I didn't get one tho. *sad face* I didn't even ask the price. I wanted to save my little bit of change for me and hubby to get a burger at 5 guys and we did. YUM! I love Sundays with my man.

Came home swam and watched Scream 4. Not bad. Wasn't expecting to much from it so I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Ha! It is getting close to one of my fav times of year so you know there will be lots of horror flicks in my future. Yay!

I heard that your dreams came true

Hello there! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls. Being the middle child can be hard. I wanted to make something special for my daughter Aria who is the 3rd child. Just a little something to let her know she is loved and thought about just as much as the others.

I sat with my supplies and thought what could I make her that she would like and be proud of. I came up with a little name plaque

She can hang it on her wall or the door to her room. I had to use one of my very fav GCD lines "fun house" to create this plaque.

She adores it and proudly shows it off to all her little friends that come to play.

Do you have a little girl or boy who needs something special just because? I created this step by step so you can make your own!

Supplies needed
Strong glue *I use beacon 3 n 1
scissors
pencil
Glitter/stickles
Pop dots
Fun house frames
Fun house Crepe ribbon
Ribbon of your choice
Medium Doily
Chip Art Chipboard alpha
Chip Art chipboard butterfly
Chip Art Chipboard album shape
Chip Art tool and Flower from mini shapes
Fun house paper line:
Under The Big Top
Main Attraction
The worlds Greatest
Shooting Gallery
Sideshow
Assorted garlands
Resin frames

1. Lets get started! Gather your supplies. Choose your background paper. I chose the Shooting Gallery from the fun house line.

2.Take one of the shapes from the album and trace it on the back of the paper you choose. Cut out and glue.

3.I fussy cut the Horse girl from Sideshow and a frame from The World's Greatest. Pop dot horse girl and set aside.

4.I stamped the chipboard butterfly with the flower in the Mini Shapes. I then painted it with some glimmer glam. Pop dot your butterfly. Set aside.

5.To make the flower at the bottom I cut various size circles from The Main Attraction and Under The Big Top papers. Rough the edges and then spray with water. I used my little spray bottle for the Chip Art tools. Curl the edges up, smoosh and push till you get the desired look. Set aside and let dry.

6.Once all your circles are dry I glittered the edges. Set out some white glue and roll the edges in your white glue. For the sparkle I used Mica Snow. Roll the edges in the glitter or mica and let dry.

7.Once they are dry assemble, glue and add your pop dotted butterfly to the middle of your flowers.

8.I cut a doily in half and added that to the bottom back. I also used the crepe paper blue and pink ribbon from Garlands. Adhere about a half inch from the bottom.

9.For the letters I traced all my letters on Shooting Gallery. Then cut out. I didnt use the chipboard under my paper only the paper. *tip* Make sure to trace your letter backwards so when you turn it over it will be the right way. Cut out letters, ink the edges and pop dot.

10.Time to put it all together. I first glued my frame to the back of my horse then glued the horse girl down. I used a pop dot for the flower so it would hold and glued that in the center of the blue crepe ribbon. I also added a resin frame behind the flower to help it flow. Place your letters. I staggered mine so they would fit and it looked more pleasing.

11. Last thing to do is add a little jewel to your butterfly, a button to the frame and your ribbon to hang. Viola you are done! I added a few stickle dots to the letters and my frame. I wanted them to stand out and not get lost with all the patterns.

I love layering and dimension. I cant stand when my page feels flat, looks flat and is flat. Have you noticed? :) I have dimension down and pretty sure I got layering down. You know what I DON'T have down? Journaling. I hate finding a space for it. The reason, my writing sucks! I mean I have the worst handwriting in the world. Ok maybe not THE worst but its pretty bad. I hate the way it looks on my pages. My quest is to make journaling a priority.

I am rethinking how I put my pages together. Planning. I think I have come up with a solution. I will try it out and report back asap. ;)

For now we go journal-less (yes I made that word up ha).
I love shoes.

I love being a girl.

This page I hope showcases that. I bought these shoes at the thrift store (brand new) for $3. They are sparkly, funky & really neat. I couldn't pass them up. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. My cousin took this picture of my shoes because she too thought they were pretty awesome. I used Amy Tangerine's line. Adore it so very much. Have you gotten to play with any of it yet? I think I have made almost 5 pages with it already!

Send me away with the words of a love song

I decided I would start trying to do a week in the life. The reason...I take pictures almost everyday. Instagram is kind of my week in the life already. I am not really making any changes except taking a few more pictures. Here is my attempt.

Hubby made me breakfast. Yummy!

Finished up a lot of deadlines. :)

Tried a pinterest recipe. Salsa chicken made in the crockpot. Pretty delish and easy.

Movie date night with my hubby. Went and saw The Help. LOVED IT!

Found out someone has been making messes in my scrap room. Couldn't have been me!

So I cleaned it.

Hubs and I took a swim in the pool. I love him so. Look at how cute he is!

Caught a praying mantis for the kids (and myself :)

Had a complete fit because I lots this! Found it the next day. LOL!

Snacked on cherry tomatoes and made a grilled Havarti cheese sammy. Mmmm!

Had a tiny little B-day party for my dad.

Tried Chicken Thai pizza. And liked it.

Ended my week with a little more scrapping. Used a lot of the Amy Tangerine line. Had a wonderful week indeed!

Look how you want me now, I dont need you

I should have followed my instincts, went with my gut, listened to my heart. Wow. Today I feel a little betrayed. A little hurt. A lot upset. This industry truly is heartbreaking. Why do we need validation? I don't get why we put ourselves through this to have people judge us and our work. I do it. I get upset and then I tell myself it's time to put my big girl pants on. The wounds heal and I forget what a bitch this industry is. Then I do it all over again. Glutton for punishment? I guess so.

Should I have learned by now? I would say YES! Do I? NO! Annoying? Indeed. I only share with you because I know you all have felt (and still do) the same way. I am a real person with real feelings. I post what I want here, when I want, how I want. I will not apologize for me because we all know if you don't like me you don't have to be here.

I have spoke with so many of my friends and they all have the same stories. I am reminded of something a friend said this past weekend..."this industry chews you up and spits you out." I think that is true for this and life in general. Its just sad when it is something you truly love doing. Oh well c'est la vie!

Everyone seems to be doing a week in the life but I think I will keep it simple and show you a weekend in the life of me...Not that I am special and you really care but hey, just in case you do. *wink*

I had such a wonderful weekend. I think I have been saying that a lot lately. Went up to Berkley with Ashley, Ginger, and Diane. We met up with Kerry Lynn, Kristi, Nikki, Daniela, and Kari at scrapbook territory. Laughter, bitching, snacking, and of course a little scrapping, was had.

I finished one page and started another. Played with the new Amy Tangerine line. Super cute stuff called for a super cute picture or two.

My silly daughter Raven. I love taking pictures of her when she will allow me. She is sooooo beautiful. My real life model.

Love using punches and I am seriously in love with those medallion punches. This one is from Martha Stewart. I also used stamps on this layout! Again from the Amy Tangerine line.

I started another layout but I didn't finish so that one will be coming soon. We had a mini photo shoot because we have so much fun that we forget to take pictures. I demanded Kristi get her totally wicked camera out and start shooting.

Sunday planned a picnic with the kids at our favorite park.

I love their fried mushrooms. Tuesday is movie day and I am hoping to go see the help. I forgot to mention we went and saw Harry Potter (freaking loved it and totally cried like a baby) and Crazy Stupid Love (another great one). I love watching movies with him. Date nights are so lovely.

I worked on a tiny sweet mini today. I think I am in love with it. That does not happen often with my creations. I will share soon!

I know I have a fickle heart

The other day I stumbled upon the Crate Paper challenge that Tara hosts. I always love her color combos and really wanted to play along this time. When I saw the colors I was a little scared I wouldnt have anything that would work let alone in Crate Paper. I remembered that I had went through my paper stash not to long ago and found some really really old CP. Wouldnt you know one paper matched! Yay! I then used some tags from the newer line (forgive me I am being lazy and cant remember the name).

I had no Denim in cp so I improvised. I love the strip fabric. That is one of my fav fabrics in my stash.
The Martha bow punch is my fav and I had to scrap the pic of my girls. Tricia and CP came to visit me awhile back and we had a great time taking photos.

I wanted some splats of paint but it was a litle light so I added some denim blue glitter to it to make it sparkle and the right color!
In the end I am pretty happy with the results, I used old paper and I would have never used these colors together. Wooo!

Now I am off to get ready for my crafty day with more wicked awesome girls! I cant wait!! I love having wonderful friends to chat up and craft with!

I could stay there close my eyes

Did I not say I have been a crafting fool lately? I honestly didn't realize until I went to post all these layouts. I have to give credit to my new crafty friends (and old). We have been getting together and scrappin our little hearts out.

I made this one at the OPP crop with Ashley, Kristi, MJ, Gina, Tricia, and Suzy. I had a great time and I actually got stuff done! Yay! I love the purple and teal in this one. This is a lot more simple then I usually do but I love the papers so much I let them speak for themselves.

Oh and not just 1 layout did I finish but 2! *gasp* I am just as stunned as you! I used the new company Authentique's lines on both the pages. They are lovely lines. My daughter Raven took this photo of my daughter Aria with her DSI. It isnt the best quality picture but that doesn't mean it isn't worth scrapping! It is about the memories. Wouldn't you agree?

In other news, I took my test and wont find out the results for a few weeks. Maybe 6. I feel good about it but I keep thinking of all the things that COULD have been wrong and then I start doubting myself. The ortho dr that I went on a interview for is still doing interviews! I think maybe it's safe to say I don't have that job ha! I need to get re-certified in cpr and get my live links scan done. I can't wait for all this to be finished!

I couldnt help myself

I have had Adele on non-stop play while I craft lately. Her voice is sooo insanely wonderful. If I could sing like anyone I would pick her. Her words speak to my sole. She makes me feel every bit of pain and joy she sings about. Seriously need to check out her album 21.

As I stated above I have been listening to Adele while CRAFTING. I have been making a lot of stuff. Here are some of the pages I haven't shared with you yet!

This one is my very favorite.It was inspired by the beautiful Tara Anderson. She makes the most lovely creations. I think it made my mojo come out to play for a bit.

My hubs and I on the beach of Santa Cruz last year. I love his green shirt and that was the inspiration for the green fabric behind our picture. I used a old skool Heidi Swapp love stamp and some old Basic grey paper. I was going through my stuff and had paper that I loved but have had for literally years. I decided to use it.

This one I used some more of the sweet tags from Shabby Chic Crafts. Don't you just love that wood grain banner? YUMMY! This is my mama and I.

Oh believe me there is much much more to come.

Hope you find that missing piece

Halloween you say? Why yes. It is never to late to create something fun and spooky! I LOVE Halloween! I of course will be doing my halloween decorating come October 1st and I have a few new things up my sleeve for the mantel. I got my hands on the new Authentique Halloween line, Glowing. It is simply marvelous! I love the colors and elegant shapes. I am a shabby kinda gal and this company screams my name.

I used a michaels wood frame ($1.00) and every bit of paper you see on here is from the Glowing line.

Have you checked out their products yet? They are a new company with years of experince! Seriously.

My big test is Saturday! I have been practicing here and there. I feel confident in it and that has got me scared! All the class 2's and #8's I have made have been passing. Lets just hope it stays that way!

On my journey through this life I have grown in so many ways. The older I get the more I appreciate life. Isnt that how it usually goes? I am always trying to remain positive and tell myself that no matter what, it could be worse. Live by that. In that way I feel truly blessed.

I read an article the other day about a brother and sister who drowned. 7 & 8. I wanted to cry. It hurt my heart so deeply. I could only think of the mother and the pain she must be in. The hole in her heart that will be there forever. I could never imagine losing a child let alone both. My heart aches for her and those children. Things like this happen every day. As terribly sad as it is it makes me hug my children tighter and thank god for the blessings in my life. I am so greatful I have what I have, be it a lot or a little.

I am determined to stay positive through all my trials and tribulations. No job yet but maybe that is because the right one hasnt come along. Life is good. I am here. Living. I am loved and I love. Now isnt that all we need?

As the last days of summer fast approach we try to hang on to them as tightly as we can. The colors of these canisters remind me of the last bits of summer. Bright, cheery and relaxing.

The end of summer means the end of dandilions and making wishes. Why not hold on to those last moments of summer with a scrapbook page.

I dont know what Aria wished for but I would like to think it is for a few more days of summer.

Go on and take it

I have had such a full and wonderful summer! Ups and downs but full of new memories and experiences. Kids went back to school last Tuesday...Already! I went on a shopping adventure with the 15 year old. I love her at this age because everything she buys I can wear too! YAY! Well almost everything. Some of it I wouldn't wear so I try to "guide" her in the right direction! hehehe!

I met up with Ashley, Gina and Suzy a couple times and we have had so much fun. I feel truly blessed to have so many crafty friends in my life! Love it! I didn't get anything done tho.

I did however, in between all the other things I was doing, manage to get my Creative type challenge done! It was a fun one too. Scrap a vacation you have been on or want to go on and use mist. I scrapped me and hubby's little vaca to Santa Cruz last year to see Lost Boys on the beach.

Strawbah bah bah bababerry

Summer is here! One day it was cool the next it was a scorcher! It came like a thief in the night, literally! We cool off in the summer by splashing in the pool, throwing water balloons and eating fresh fruit. Yep that's right. Fresh watermelon and strawberries are the best.

I took this picture of my cousin not to long ago. I couldn't wait to scrap it. To me it screams summer. Her beautiful golden hair and that bright red strawberry. Perfect summer photo.

I used GCD's Melody ross line homespun chic-applique. I cut out the sweet birds and flowers to add to my white cardstock. I also punched scalloped circles to go under my title.

I love adding texture and dimension to my pages. I achieved the dimension by pop dotting the flowers and bird. The sewing around the page and under the title adds the texture I love.

The Layered frames also from Homespun adds even more depth to the layout. They are simply beautiful and set off the picture nicely.

Homespun Chic is so feminine and bright. It works for every season.

Make sure to stay cool and try some nice cool fruit to kick off the summer.

Stoplights Are Swaying And The Phone Lines Are Down

Hi there! I would love to share with you my gcd creations. I am always so inspired by the internet. Honestly don't know what I would do without it. This photo of all these lovely dresses inspired me sooo much. The colors are simply to die for.

I wish my closet looked like this! Oh the ruffles, the sparkle and lace! *swoon*

One of my guilty pleasures on the internet is Pinterest. The abundance of inspiration on that board...Well if you are on there I don't have to tell you and if you're not, you need to be! My technique came from pinterest and I knew I had to try it out. Lets get started shall we?

supplies
scissors
new pencils with new erasers
inks or paints (colors of your choice)
cardstock
glue
*circle templates (more about this in the post)
patterned paper
*embroidery thread
*embroidery needle
(*optional)

1. Gather your supplies. I like to have everything on hand. I chose to have my polka dots in groups of bubbles. If you would like to do the same you need different size circle templates. I used things I had laying around the house.

2. I used white cardstock for my background (one of my inspiration colors). A light color will show your polka dots the best. I then traced my templates.(Make sure to trace lightly so you can erase after.) I wanted various sizes and staggered them.

3. Now it is time to have your fun. I only used one pencil to make all my dots. If you do this make sure to have a scrap paper that you can clean your eraser before heading to your next ink color. Go to town! There is no rhyme or reason to this. I even over lapped some of my dots. You want a very random look to it.

4.For my center circle I wanted to break up all the polka dots so I chose to fill it with patterned paper. I used the same template to trace my circle, cut it and glued.

5. To me the bubbles weren't emphasized enough so I decided to add a little dimension and texture by stitching around all the bubbles. The lines your drew really come in handy now. Just poke holes following your lines and you will have your sewing template. ( If you want the same look I have here is a tip. Make sure you come up through your second hole and go down through your first. Working backwards.)

6.Now all that is left to do is add your personal touches. Pictures, embellishments, title and journaling. Hope you had fun with this technique.

A camping we will go!

I had the honor of guest designing for the beautiful and lovely Veronica at Shabby Chic crafts. She sent me so many awesome tags to play with. The ones that I HAD to play with right away were the camping ones. I mean I just did the camp in the backyard, they were perfect for that!

I first made a page using my smores pictures. I loved putting all the marshmallows in my vintage pyrex bowl. Had to take a pic. The other pic is my work of art. It took me a while to make that smore. Not a huge fan of them and that one was the first one I have ever had. My kids love them tho.

I had sooooooooo many photos of our camping trip I decided to make a mini. I wanted to use mostly the awesome tags with accents of paper here or there. I hope I achieved that.

I used a lot of GCD and of course a ton of tags from Shabby Chic crafts. Make sure to go check out her store and leave me some love on the blog post here and there! *smile*

How cool is this?!?!

In other news...What a week! I went to take my 2 written tests for my RDA. Now you all know I went to school to be a Dental Assistant. I finished (top of my class I might add) and am indeed a Dental assistant. Now in order to make more money and of course do more I have to be state certified. That means on top of my schooling I have to pay for 3 tests. 2 are written and 1 is hands on. Today I took my 2 written which cost me about 100.00 (gas included). There is no study guide really and if I do not pass I have to pay to retake it... As I said I took my tests and I PASSED! Yay! I am relieved and happy and I just wanted to cry! Seriously. I had to hold back my tears.

The tests were difficult. I honestly thought I wasn't going to pass them. Everything I learned flew out my head. I re-read every questions at least twice and went back to ones I wasn't sure about. I kept asking myself to think logically...Oh and I prayed a lot! I have to really praise god and Jesus because I feel without prayers I wouldn't have passed.

Now one test. ONE test is keeping me from a state license. That ONE test is going to come at me August 6th or 7th. That ONE costs me 250. That ONE, if I don't pass, will cost me 250 again to take. ONE. *sigh*

More prayers needed. I will be practicing this one everyday till the day I take it. Thank goodness my school allows that. I get to use their supplies to fashion the crown as many times as I want till I take the test. YAY! I need that.

Cool part of this journey is I got to meet up with a few crafty buddies. We had a super fun time and now I have 2 new life long friends. Totally talented ladies Gina and Ashley.

Locked myself in the crafty cottage and got my guest dt spot done. Here is a peek of what I have been up to.

How was your 4Th? Mine was sweet and small. My mom, grandma and hubby's friend Walt came by. We BBQ'd, swam, and lite fireworks.

I made cupcakes. Banana pudding cupcakes to be exact.Recipe here.

Simple. Sweet.

Did a little craft'n awhile back and forgot to post pics. I love playing with sass and crate paper. Every time I touch those papers something beautiful pops in my head. It may not make it out of there but I still love the images I think up while playing. Hehehe!

June 25th was national camp out in your backyard day. Did you? This is our 2nd year participating. Last year the kids had such a good time I HAD to do it again. This year was even better then last. Could've been because we had the pool or maybe just the excitement that the kids had this year made it better.

We set up the tent, pumped our mattress, and got all the blankets and pillows from the house.

I got all the food ready for our backyard fire pit. Hot dogs and chips of course!

Roasting hot dogs is ONE of their fav parts.

Then we got ready for the tastiest part...

Yummy ooooey goooey s'mores!

We had HUGE marshmallows as you can see.

I made my first s'mores. It was pretty good but not as tasty as everyone makes them out to be. One was way more then enough for me.

The kids of course had to have a few.

Towards the time to pack it in we all shared ghost stories around the campfire.

I don't think there was one thing they didn't like about this day. They wanted to keep the tent up all summer if they could. Wonderful memorable time. Hope you join us next year!

The livings easy

Hey ya'll got some more GCD goodies to share. Hope you enjoy! :)I used the Fun house collection for this one.
I tucked a little lace tag (shabby chic crafts tag) for journaling on the side and used the beautiful sunny yellow cabochon to accent it.

My daughter Raven hanging out by the side of the pool. I used one of the shaped paper boarders from the Soul food collection to accent the bottom of the page. Laced a little bakers twine through it to finish it off. I love using doilies in my design. They give that little extra special something to your page and they are super inexpensive.

Loving the soul food collection by Melody Ross. I used it for this page of my daughter and friends feeding a horse. The whole experince was so lovely and feminin I wanted the papers to reflect that.

These papers truly do. The tag has a little glitter to it and the colors are beautiful. I also added a few fun house elements to the page. The clear boarder and the cabochon go so perfectly with Soul Food.
I used a chipboard book shape to create the background for my page. I love texture so I hand sewed the boarder.

love of mine

Father's day. Busy. Much to do. Appreciation. Love. Family. So many things on this day. I didn't spend it with my dad. Instead I spent it with one of THE BEST father's I have ever known. I myself think it's hard to be a dad. Woman carry the child with them for 9 months. It grows inside your tummy all the while you have bounded with this child. Men on the other hand only get to imagine how it feels to have this joyous life growin inside of you. This life depends only on you. Father's don't get to experience that until the child is here.

I appreciate when a man can see the life growing inside you as something beautiful. Something that you made together. Special. There will never be another like it. Unique. My husband is that man. He deserves all I can do. 18 years he has been with me and 16 of them with a child. He has managed to stay sane with a teenage daughter and all the while loved me unconditionally. Special.

I wanted to make him something special. Something I knew he would love. I took his two favorite flavors and made a cupcake just for him. I call it Ron's special cupcake.
It is a white cake with pistachio cream and white chocolate frosting. Rich. Sweet. Delish.
Of course living with a crafty wife I had to do it up right. I made a happy fathers day banner to put atop the cakes.

Made a fathers day card with some GCD The great outdoors collection. I love me some mustaches so any chance I can use them I am going to do so.

Of course it wouldn't be complete without a fathers day/mustache banner! I threw in some burlap stashes along with the gcd. Love. I may have to keep the banner up for a little while longer. *wink*

It wasn't all about the sweets and crafts at my house. Oh noooo. My husband requested juicy lucys with chili cheese fries. I have never made juicy lucys so of course I looked it up on the Internet. BTW I think I have mentioned before but I HATE touching raw meat. HATE! Anything tho for my sweet man.

I must admit it was worth the work. They tasted pretty good and my hubby and kids LOVED them. Kids all made handmade cards for him and we bought him a BBQ set that he totally thinks is wicked cool.

I find it to be really unique

Hello friends. Today I am sharing a SB page I made using the fun house line. I love this line to bits. It is so fun and the colors are lovely. I managed to get my hands on one of the mustaches on a stick at a crop I went to a few months back. My friend and I couldn't resist playing. These pictures are what came of that.

I love the rub-ons! They go on paper like butter. I put some fun glasses on the pic of me and 2 mustache rub ons for my title and my journaling.

My background I created by cutting out the circle off the patterned paper and then cutting a smaller circle from the cardstock. I then machine sewed the circle to the CS. Super fun and simple and it adds lots of texture and dimension to your layouts.

I also made this super fun top hat. My cousin inspired me to make this one.

Used GCD Fun house line for this sweet little top hat. I think it would make a great photo booth prop don't you?

In other news...It is HOT! How bout in your neck of the woods?

Dont get so close to change my mind

Lots and lots to share. I am going to have to start posting every few days just to catch up! Let me start out by saying there is a new prompt up at Simply artistic. Here is the card I made for it.
As you can tell we are putting birds on our ATC's. I love birds. Make sure to come play along with us. If you do leave me a link on my blog and I will come leave you some love!

Used the new Girls Paperie line for this one. I love buying things at the thrift store including clothes. Being a out of work mother of 4 it has become a regular thing...But I love it! So what is your style?

Went to Columbia state park this weekend with my mom, sister and daughter. We had a wonderful time even tho it rained all day Saturday. I know I may be a big nerd for loving to play dress up, but I totally do. I don't care. I accept it with no problem. Haha!

They had an totally wicked awesome cape I got to wear. It was wonderful! I wanted to take it home and wear it always. I know, nerd.

My fav part of course was the beautiful memories I created with my family. My daughter and I laughed so very hard Saturday night. My sides and cheeks hurt from the sillyness that in sued.

I have to give all the credit to my mom because without her it wouldn't have happened. I love her to bits and she is a pretty cool lady too.

I did however miss my husband to no end. My phone didn't work great so I wasn't able to text him all that much and I couldn't get online at all. It was crazy. Most of the time I really felt like I was in 1852! Ha! When I was able to get texts here and there he always made me feel so very special and loved and missed.

I came home to a clean and organized house. It was totally freakin awesome! He also went down to the flea market and bought me my most very fav snack.

To top it all off I got out of the shower to find these on my pillow.(the pretty flowers in my vase)

I had such a great weekend. I am truly blessed. Now off to catch up on deadlines and 21st century things.

On to the artsy stuff! I made this sweet little wreath for my front door out of yarn, lace, and cloth I had lying around. It needed a little something extra besides the rolled paper flowers. I decided to make a few tags to add to my wreath. The PSA stamps work wonderfully with the twine from The Twinery.

The birds are from GCD studios paper. These tags would be lovely on a simple package wrapped in brown paper, don't you agree?

There's a fire burning in my heart

Rowan found a cloud heart in the sky and I had to take a pic of it. Isn't it beautiful!? I love it.

Posts are getting stretched farther apart a little. This month has been super lazy. Now I am sick. Boo! I guess not working and sitting at home really drains the life out of you. I need a job. I mean I thought I would never say that. Something needs to happen anyway.

Had a wonderful weekend tho. My sister in law moved back from Mississippi so we planned a little get together for her on Sunday.

Hubby made some awesome Mexican food. That I didn't get a full picture of.

There were taquitos, enchilada casserole, rice, beans, Mexican corn, salsa and chips.

Towards the end hubby brought out his guitar and fun was had. Just all around lovely day.

I made up my own recipe for her. Big Cherry Cupcakes. I wanted them to taste like a big cherry candy. It did. I would post the recipe but I wasn't in love with the cake. Back to the drawing board with that one. Everyone really loved them and they didn't last till the end of the day but again I just wasn't happy with the cake. Stay tuned for the recipe soon.

BTW the candy stand or cupcake stand I got from the thrift store. I love the thrift store. I have found some awesome stuff there. I will share more of that stuff soon too.

I also have made a few cookies and cupcakes I will share in posts to come. :)

Lastly some crafty stuff.

All you need is love

I am here today to share a page I made of my mom. The person who gave me life. I wanted to keep this page simple and to the point.

My title is all about what she is to me. She is amazing, authentic and courageous. The soul food line is beautiful just like my mom and goes wonderful with what I wanted to convey.

She is my mom.

I made some simple flowers using the soul food pp. You simply cut circles and then cut pie shapes out of the circles to form your petals. I layered a few on top of each other and viola instant super easy flowers. Make sure to check the blog for more inspo from all the other dt!

I also wanted to share with you my churro cupcakes I made for Cinco De Mayo. They were sooooo yummy!

I loved them! The tiny churro on top was super easy to make too.

Filled with Dulce De Leche. Man Divine!

New atc for ya. Have you jumped on this tiny art fun bus yet? You really should. It is a great way to use all those extra scraps you have and a lot less time to make.

I made this a while ago. It was for a dt inspiration page we did at AMM. Love my iPhone and my friend Kristi Lewis snapped this photo of me playing with my phone at a crop. It really should be attached to my hand permanently. Hehe!

I have been so blah last week. Haven't hardly done a darn thing. I say hardly. I did manage to make cupcakes. Big surprise right? HA! These ones are Mint Chocolate chip and I used my sweet Mother's day presents my husband bought me.

I truly am blessed. My hubby listens to me and knows what makes me tick. He is such a sweet man. He made my mom and I bbq and I made her boston cream pie cupcakes.

They turned out delish. I used Martha's cake recipe, this cream recipe and this ganache.

I've been locked inside your heart shaped box for weeks

Trying to get my living room back in order. I seem to be having a hard time. I think my mojo has got up and moved out. Gah! It could be the codeine (teeth issues). I just cant seem to move. I am so sleepy-ish. Blah! This is what I have so far. Not loving it. Think of taking down the fluffy balls, and orange thrift store painting...Hmph. Tell me what you think. Any suggestions?

I sit here slowly checking off things from my to do list, (and I do mean slowly), I realized to myself that I cant rely on luck. I know I have realized this before but it seems to get lost every now and again. I end up coming full circle and snap myself out of the dream land I have pushed myself back into. I mean don't get me wrong dreams are fine and dandy... But when do I wake up? I think that is my problem. I throw myself into said dream land and have a hard time grasping reality. Reality being I am most likely NOT going to win the lottery. I will not be opening my own business (at least no time soon) and I am not magical (hehe).

I know, that sounds sad to come to those realizations and there is nothing wrong with dreaming that one day they will come true. Holding on to those hopes and dreams. I think my plm is I hold on to them to tightly at times. When they don't become a reality I get sad and depressed and wonder to my self why. Why not me? Why cant I have that kind of life?

I was watching something on tv the other night and it was about stars, actors, people, growing up. Most of them said "I wanted to do this ever since I was a child". I thought to myself that's why. They wanted it that bad and here it is. They have it. I never wanted to work that hard for anything in my life. I give up so easily. If it hasn't happened then I feel sorry for myself and move on to something else. I give up. I need to find a way to change that. I WILL find a way to give up less and DO more.

I guess my point is I want, want, want, but I don't work hard at it. I don't know how. I give up and I am not very focused. Why am I telling you all this? I think it is good to get your faults out there. Look at them and try to change them. I could sweep it under the rug like I always do but then I would never learn. I NEED to learn.

This is me doing that. Learning. Who knows maybe one day I will be a better person for it. ♥

I just cant get enough

I had a jam packed fun filled weekend. I met up with Jenny T and Tricia W. Even though it was only a few hours I had a really good time. Went to the mall shopped a bit.

Made some jokes at the poor sales persons expense.

Tried on a few hats.

Ate a Monte Cristo.

Bought a picnic basket at the thrift store for $4.00

Laughed and said hella way to much.

Saturday spent the day doing a little creating and a whole lot of nothing. Hehe! Aren't those the best days? I think so. Here is a peek of what I made.
Used more of my 35lb box of fun. This was inspired by my cousin. I cant wait to show it off on NSD.

Sunday we went to a BBQ for one of my husbands old friends. She moved back and he hadn't seen her in at least 18 years. I have never met her before so I was a little worried as to how the day was going to be. A lot of his other old friends were going to be there, ones I have met. Thank goodness I made friends with one of these said old friends wife, Erika. She really made me feel at ease and made the day so fun. I enjoyed myself immensely and I think made a few more friends. That's always a good thing.I cant wait for the next get together/bbq.

So I know I told you my next cupcake would be a boston cream pie but I forgot about Cinco De Mayo. A little change of plans. We are going to celebrate this year and I am going to make Churro cupcakes. MMMMM! Hubby is going to make Tamales and I am thinking something else (cuz I am not a fan) & seven layer dip. Gotta get some fiesta-ness going on in this house. Hoping to have everything spring cleaned by then. Wish me luck.

Looking at this post I feel so blessed. I don't have everything I want or even need, but what I do have is an abundance of love. I have heard that that is all you need. Yes, blessed.

Like a diamond in the sky, how I wonder

Man being home all day long drains the life right out of you! Here I thought I would have much more energy to do the things that NEED to be done. Boy was I wrong. I don't even wanna get up off this couch. I think the couch has life draining powers. Ha! Here it is Friday and not one thing has gotten done. I too have noticed the week goes by so much faster. I mean this shouldn't be anything new I was a sahm for many years but I guess I just forgot. I did more when I worked. I must change that. Starting today.

Must mention the Royal Wedding. There I did. Honestly don't know what the hype is all about nor do I care. If I lived in England (and I myself am 1/4 British) maybe I would care more. I don't. My daughter said she thought it was neat to have a queen and wished we had one. I think it is neat as in fairytale neat but I like that we don't have to have the same person mucking up our government. I mean we have someone different to do that every 4 years or so lol! No but really you don't get to choose your king or queen. You are stuck. Maybe that is a good thing? Cant blame the voters for who they have...Hahaha oh well whatever.

New cupcakes made this weekend. Irish car bomb cupcakes. They are super moist. They are a huge hit for adults. I personally think they are ok. I can taste the alcohol and to me that is no bueno. It has baileys Irish cream in it and stout beer. I left out the whiskey.

The baileys is in the frosting and the ganache. It doesn't cook out. Not a whole lot for 24 cupcakes. You can sure taste it tho. If I was to make them for just me I would cut down the baileys (the recipe I had used 8 tbs hubby wanted me to use all 8 so I did). I HIGHLY recommend for adult parties. Like I said they are super moist and everyone has loved them so far.

My next cupcake adventure will be the Boston creme pie ones for Mothers day. I cant wait for those because I LOVE Boston creme pie. I hope they turn out delish.

On the crafty front I have managed to get one page done. It was for a GCD assignment. I will share a little peek with ya.I have been slacking on my 15 mins a day and my girl cave is FULL of spiders AGAIN! I went out there with my cousin the other day and we both got the creeps. I need to figure out a solution...Maybe tear it down and build new?! Hahaha gotta win that lottery first.

Oh I did play too. Didn't win of course. I will not give up. Off to buy 2 more tickets bahahahaha!

I'm dreaming of you tonight

This is on my list. My "when I win the lottery" list. Of course I would love it in Ice or pink but a smart designer once said "keep your appliances simple. Trends come and go faster than appliances break." Oh how I want the ice tho. IT would really SUCK to get ice and then a few years down the line my kitchen colors change and I am stuck with a $300 appliance that is just the wrong dang color. Yeah I will stick with white. It IS the smart thing to do. Hehehe!

I have been dreaming. Of my own business. You know the cupcake/scrapbook store. Or maybe the scrapbook/cupcake store. I have a name. Glitter & Sprinkles. Maybe Sprinkles & Glitter. Not sure what one sounds better yet. Need funds. That's where the lottery comes in. Hehehe! I even have a place picked out. It is for lease. Beautiful brick. Old. Just awesome.

Frosted with creme cheese frosting (homemade all from scratch). I brought it to the easter potluck sunday. Everyone seemed to love them. I am going to make another batch to thank the girls at "work" for all their help. Oh the ease of making it with that lovely Kitchen Aid up there. Need one. *wink*

Next on my cupcake list is Boston Creme Pie cupcakes. I am making those for my mommy for Mother's day. I am super excited about those. They look so delish. They honestly are more like mini boston creme pies but hey we can call them cupcakes.

I really need to think of something FAB to buy and make my mom. I should be thinking of these things a lot sooner. At least I have no work right now. I have other things to do too. Like play with this box of goodies from GCD. 35lbs of lovelyness!
Isnt it lovely?!? Oh the beautifulness that is in that huge box. Assignments have been assigned. Need to get on that.

This week is super busy. Filled with lovely things. I am finished with extern so I need to go take care of that with school. My cousin is coming over tmw to scrap with me! Yay!!! I miss our little get togethers. Need to get this house in order today. Then Friday I am meeting with Jennifer Tucker, CP, Lisa Rainbow pants, Tricia, and Vernoica for a fun filled day of...well fun of course! They are all meeting up here and we are gonna paint the town pink and mint green. Hehehe! I cant wait!

I made my nutella cupcakes last weekend.

OMG they were sooo yummy! Definately making these again. Next on my cupcake list...Oreo cupcakes.

Last day of extern...I am scared, happy, sad, excited. So many things going on in my head. I wish I could stay home and create. I wish I could find a good job so I dont have to worry about where the money is going to come from to pay this or that bill. I wish I could open up my own scrap/cupcake store and call it Glitter and Sprinkles. Didnt I tell you so many things going on in my head? *sigh* I need to win the lottery. I guess maybe I should start playing then huh? Bawahaha!

This past week many things came and went. One most important thing was my 18 year anniversary with my hubby. No we havent been married for 18 years but we might as well been. We have been together for 18 years and to me that is just as awesome. Not many people last that long these days. I know we will be celebrating 50 years in the future. Hopefully tho that one doesnt come as fast as the 18 did!

My hubby goes out of his way to make special days even more special. He cooked me dinner (lasagana), had it waiting for me when I got home. Bought me 12 long stem red roses, monkey pj's and slippers, a super sah-weet ring (just my style), and a jumbo reese easter egg. Hehehe! Yeah he is freakin awesome, I know. I think I love him. *wink*

On the crafty front I have one more page made with the AMM April kit.

I also forgot to share my little easter wreath I made for my front door. Everything bought at dollar tree.

I was thinking some plastic eggs covered in music sheets added to it would be fab. Maybe next year. Not much time left!

I should be getting my DT box from GCD stuidos tmw! Soooo excited!

When somethings cold, let me put a little fire on it

As I sit and try to type out this blog post my kids are fighting. Constant. I need to make myself a referee shirt. Sheesh! Anyway stuff to share. After all that's what a blog is for right? Sharing. Reminds me of show and tell as a kid. *wink*

The new ATC prompt is up at Simply Artistic. I have to tell you I wasn't much of a ATC fan in the beginning of this little adventure. Doing these prompts has made me love them a little more each time. They are so easy to whip up and so very cute. Wouldn't you agree? Come and play and be inspired! (*used the April AMM kit*)

Kept forgetting to post my flea market finds from a few weekends ago.I finally remembered. The books were .25 each. Awesome deal. The little milk glass dish= 1.00.Love it to bits.
These glass door knobs were 2 for 7.00. That was the most I have ever spent at the Flea market for something vintage BUT they are at least 10 each in a antique store so I got a really good deal. I am going to use them as curtain tie backs.

& lastly I made these strawberry shortcups for work last weekend. They had a potluck and I wanted to show off my baking skillz.I got the recipe off Martha Stewart. I wasn't really impressed with them at first. I felt they were missing something.
So I added my own special spin on them. I cut a small circle out of the top and filled it with homemade strawberry puree. This of course is why I call them Strawberry shortcups. They were delish. Sweet. Perfect.

Next on my Cupcake list...Nutella cupcakes. YUM.

People always told me be careful what you do

I have a bunch of A Million Memories stuff to share with you all today. I created a countdown calendar for my kids. Used plastic eggs and my April Amm kit. You can make a whole flat of them but I have 4 children so I wanted to keep it simple.

So here is how you make your own.
~SUPPLIES~
scissors
white glue
Water
crepe paper streamers
PP paper
glitter of choice
Empty egg carton
Styrofoam plate
plastic eggs
scallop punch

1. Make a mixture of 2 parts glue to one part water.

2.Tear crepe paper streamers in to bits. No need to be precise, you want a chunky look to your eggs.

3.Begin by brushing the eggs with the glue mixture.

4.Place your crepe paper bits on the egg coated in glue. I use the straight edges at the opening of the egg. Make sure to not make it perfect, a little chunky never hurt anyone. :)

5.Smooth out the crepe paper with the glue mixture. I find my finger worked the best for this. Add your glitter while the glue is wet. Set aside to dry.

6.Punch scalloped circles from PP. Roll edges in glue and cover in glitter. Add your nbrs.Add pop dot to back and glue pop dot to egg above opening. Viola!

I am filling mine with bible verses and candy of course. Enough for each of them to have a piece.The grass is just streamers cut into stripes to make it look like grass.

Lastly this page of my bike. I love my bike. This page is showcasing that love. The kit is so beautiful and filled with lovely stuff. I still have a TON of things to make with it. Michelle really puts together some awesome kits. :)

I have so many creative things swimming around in my head, amongst deadlines. I hope to get to them all soon.

Or when the crazies say he hates us

My lovely friend Kerry Lynn shared a video. It inspired me so much. The woman said to get your hands moving and create at least 15 mins a day. Now she was talking about drawing but I made it fit my creativity and figured it meant the same thing. I love creating. It helps me de-stress from work.

I have ended up making a few things.

I made this one last night and I think it took me all of 20 mins. This is my hubby taking a picture of me taking a pic of him. Ha! We love taking pics with our phones.

This one was for the Lily Bee design challenge. My mommy in Columbia teaching the kids the olden ways. We had so much fun.

One more thing. I have a tutorial on the AMM blog. If you want to make a peep inspired paper garland then go check it out. :)

So my advice to you all is create at least 15 mins a day. Set that aside. I mean 15 minutes?!? Don't get frustrated if you don't finish. Set a timer for that small 15 mins, if you must, and go back to it tmw when it goes off. Try it for a week. Practice makes perfect. Don't forget creativity soothes the soul. :)

April fools day came and went. Did you pull any epic jokes? The only thing I did was told the kids the ps3 was broke AGAIN. They totally believed me and were upset. LOL! I felt a little evil but it was funny.

I had a little adventure Saturday. Cropped with my buddies Diane and Kristi. We had a blast.

The huge mess I made. You would think with such a BIG mess something great came out of it right? Wrong...I did manage to start on a mini book and get one page done.

Wow really you are saying...Yeah really. How can one sit there for hours and hours and do so little. I have no clue. I just do not work well with others. Haha! I have to have my tiny little studio to get my creativity going. I go to crops tho not for the works but for the friendship. My girls nights. Love them.

I have some super sweet scrappy news to share (say that 5 times fast).

Thaz right.

There is a new challenge up why not go check it out? This is my take on it using the new Echo park For the Record line.

I would say I love to a fault...I have a very tender heart. Sometimes I wish it was a little harder. I need a hard candy coating for it. :)

Last day of March and man did it come and go quickly. April fools day is tmw...Oh yeah that's right it is ha! I have NOTHING planned for it. I don't usually. My husband is the one who tries to trick us. He has had a few good ones too. One day I will get him back...One day.

Aria's birthday was Saturday.
I made these delicious Lemon Meringue cupcakes. OMG so good! Everyone loved them.

She is my star. She was playing Karaoke revolution here singing her little heart out even tho it wasn't her turn. She had a lovely time.

In other news I am sick. Was sick yesterday and couldn't crawl out of bed this morning. I called in sick to "work". I HATE doing that. I debated with myself for a good 30 mins and when I tried to get up and get ready my body just wasn't having it. I knew I would be miserable so I sucked it up and called in. I always feel the next day when you come back people are mad or thinking things...Yeah I know. Nerd.

I sat on this couch from 8am till about 7pm. Totally vegged. I started feeling a bit better and decided I really need to get SOMETHING done. I mean I couldn't even enjoy the day really. That totally sucked. I did however clean a bit of my mess up and organized some scrap-disaster. This is where I ended up.

Next post I will share my Flea Market finds from last weekend. YAY!

You had my heart inside of your hands

Wow extern has been rough. I felt so lost those 3 days. I am however getting use to it. I can not wait till it is done and I hopefully find the right Doctor/office for me. I know god will push me in that direction. He wont steer me wrong. I trust in him and put it all in his hands. I know you dont see me talk about religion or god to much on my blog. I dont believe in pushing my beliefs on other people. Just know that is not what I am doing. Just giving credit where credit is due (in my life).

My birthday was also the first day of extern. Not nice. We had a party Saturday and we had a few friends and family join us. My hubby took me shopping for some clothes (pics to follow of me in the outfit *wink*) and my mommy, grand and aunt gave me money ( my very fav). I get to go shopping ( my other fav).

One of the cutest pressies I recieved was from my sister. She first handed me a tiny box. Inside were the sweetest little easter bunnies (she knows me to well). Then I opened another package and it was bedding for a small pet...I really was confused at first. Then BIL came in with the rest.

Yep a sweet little cage with a tiny little fuzzy inside.

I named her Matilda. My kids and I LOVE that movie. It just seemed perfect when it popped into my head. Isnt she so sweet?

The kids adore her. Constantly want to hold her. She has even pooped in our hands and they still want to hold her! LOL! Every time I hear "poop in his hand, poop in his hand!" Play over and over in my head.

Nothing I can share on the crafting front today. I did finish a few deadlines and have a few more to start. Oh and I have some more fun crafty news to share soon Woot! Actually 2 fun crafty things. Stay tuned for that.

What do you have planned today? Did you make anything crafty? Decorate your house? I don't usually decorate to much for St. Patty's day but I think I am going to start doing that more...IF I can find the time.

I made this little shamrock "plant" for someone special. I plan to put in the card "I am lucky to have you for a friend". Very easy to make.

Used a Psa stamp for the middle of the shamrock and all the paper is from the March AMM kit.Very simple to make and a cute gift. Wouldn't you say?

Today I am going to be making Corned beef and cabbage for the kids. I never have made it but my mom use to make it or us. Tasty. I think the kids will get a big kick out of it.
YUM!

Lastly hubby bought me some green chrysanthemums. I put them in my fav little milk glass pot.
I love them.

Take all the courage you have left

I have some super happy news to share. Seriously so freakin happy. I was practically jumping up and down when I got the call. The person on the other end made my month, maybe even year. Are you wondering what could be so exciting? Ok I will spill it.

I am now the proud member of the GCD design team!

Are you doing a happy dance for me? I did. Just the brief 10 mins I was on the phone with Heidi made me even happier to be on this team. She is truly a fabulous gal.

I couldn't be happier to work with such a wonderful lady and wicked awesome product. I only apply for things that I truly love and I truly love their lines.

Speaking of truly love I managed to make a few things at the crop I went to on Saturday with the new A Million Memories kit. Met my totally cool friend Kristi there and we talked and scrapped. I actually was productive that day. I worked my little heart out.

Collecting your jar of hearts

I love making tiny art. It is less intimidating and a great use for all those scraps or papers that you just dont use or need. I save lots of things. I am a hoarder or boarder line hoarder lol! I mean my girl cave looks nothing like those houses you see on tv. LOL! I am sure it could tho if I dont watch myself.

I made this the other day. Just for fun...Just because.

I also made this page using some GCD. I dont know if I like it to much. There is just somthing about it I m not feeling.

I do however love this picutre. I mean who wouldnt love to stand in a patch of tiny daisies.

Pit and Fissure sealants went off without a hitch. I am super stoked I did 4 patients and I did them well. It wasnt to bad. My problem is I have to many feelings. I put myself in the patients situation and I start to feel bad if they have sat there for a while with their mouth open. Then I get nervous...Well you get the picture. Like I said tho everything went well and I am so glad it is over haha!

I have less then 4 days left of school! Can you believe it?! It has went by so fast. I am excited and nervous. I dont feel like I am prepared enough. I guess we shall see right?

I have to say my mantel has sat untouched since I cleared off all the valentines day stuff. I actually have been making pages instead of crafting for the mantel. I DO however have a few ideas. I will be working on those soon.

As I said I have been making pages a lot. Here are a few of those pages.
I made this one for the challenge over at Lilybee designs. Used Domestic Bliss. My crafty space. Why is it after you take a pic you notice things. Like the letters are weird. I fixed them but didnt fix the photo. Just know space is a little closer. *wink*

I also used Domestic bliss for this page. Love Lilybee designs. I only recently discovered them. I was out of the loop for a bit. Me being silly last year at lunch with the hubs.

Used sass Paper Crush. I really love that line. Me and hubby this year on valentines day.

This month is jammed packed with stuff and I have a feeling it is going to go by super fast. I got my extern site. I only have a few more weeks left of school and then I get pushed out of the nest...and work for free for 215 hours! Ha!

I am a little freaked out and I hope it goes well. I also have sealants on saturday. I'm a little nervous. Wish me luck on that one.

I'm setting goals for myself. I really need to be more organized. Stop living by the motto "put off today what I could do tmw." Need a new motto like "get it done early and all will be right with the world." haha!

Silly me,I totally forgot to share these creations. I made them with the Feb AMM kit last month.
I love spring. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Remember the uhh sketch I "drew" up for AMM? This is my take. The subject of my affection on this page is my beautiful daughter Raven.

I love to share...Or should I say enable? Nah share is a nicer word. Especially when you see what I am about to "share" with you. AMM's kit is up and it is super wicked great.
Wouldn't you agree? I mean look at all the new stuff! Maya Road, My Minds Eye, American crafts. Sooo lovely! Did you notice FULL set of stamps you get with the kit?! I cant wait to get my hands on it.

& it's the 1st of March so that means Simply Artistic has begun again. Our first cards since the break are posted. This is my take on the "concept". I used Sassafras paper crush. I totally have a paper crush on Sass.

I am nearing the end of my 4 day weekend. I managed to clean the girl cave & mess it up again.

Go on a wonderful bike ride with my hubby to the park.

We packed sandwiches in my basket and drinks. ♥

We did more riding with Aria. I would say we rode about 8 miles total. It was so lovely and sweet. I enjoyed it so very much. Lots more pictures to share of course. How was your weekend?

Ahh the past few days have been simply lovely. Spring like even. I cant wait for spring. It makes me happy and fills my soul with laughter. Seriously. Sadly it is suppose to rain for 4 days. *insert sniffles*

I took my valentines decorations down. A little sad to see them go. I still would like to make more v-day treats but it is time to move on. Any guesses on what I am moving on to? If you said easter you would be correct! *wink*

I started making easter cards. Tara so kindly agreed to be my permanent swap friend so I had to start thinking of pretty little things to make her. I am so inspired by her. She had these adorable paper cakes on her blog that she made with her daughter. I got the idea of using the same kind of concept but instead making easter eggs.

I used the new Sass Smitten line for this one.

This one I used Sass mix & mend.

Oh and silly me I forgot to post that I wore my DIY sweater for our little v-day party.

& made me a little v-day hair clip.

Before I left on my little getaway I made another page using my AMM kit.

I think it is my fav one so far. I got the Sass flower at the store for 40% off! Love them. The sale is still going on too.

Running away can be really fun. Tell me tho when I know I am going away from all my craft supplies the urge to make something hits. Then when I do get home to create the urge is gone. Boowhoo. I have lots to play with too. Now I just need time. Anyone have some they could give me? No...ok!

After school hubby picked me up and to the room we went.
This was waiting for me. We got ready and went out on the town.

Ate at a place called Valley Brewing. They have my very fav sandwich.
It is called a Monte Cristo. It is 2 pieces of french toast with turkey, ham & swiss. Dusted with powder sugar and served with a side of jam and yam fries. Mmmmm mmm mmm!

We then went to see "Just Go With It".
It's a dark photo of him and myself but we were in the theater. I still love it to bits.

The next day we went out, shopped, and ate yogurt and Nubi and ate at Jollibees.

Lovely.
